Henry's Housework Inc. contributed their time, workers, and materials to work at the Wheaton Regional Parks outdoor skating rink in Wheaton Maryland on July 27th 2004. Teams cleaned accumulated dirt, mold and mildew from the skating rink, and other public areas. All work was performed with environmentally safe procedures.
This volunteer effort is being organized by the national association of Power Washers of North America (PWNA) in an effort to improve the environment and safety in our communities. The Power Washers of North America is the recognized leader in developing and communicating the highest standards in ethical business practices, environmental awareness and safety through continuing education and active representation of the membership.
The original idea was conceived by PWNA
member Henry Bockman of Henry's Housework Inc.,
in Germantown, MD. Henry has launched several service projects in his area such as pressure washing the Germantown Square Park on the corner of Middlebrook Road and Route 118, and recently his company pressure washed all of the log cabins for Camp Friendship. The Camp Friendship Program of the Carol Jean Cancer Foundation offers recreational and support programs for kids with cancer and their families in Maryland, District of Columbia and northern Virginia.
Henry's Housework, Inc. continues to offer its services to over 19,000 clients in the Montgomery County Maryland area for the last 20 years. They continue to work with the media and other community programs, in an effort to persuade other companies to offer their time and services to their communities.
