On Friday, April 16th, Henry's Housework Inc. from Germantown and Aqua Marines of Baltimore Maryland, donated their services to pressure wash all the log cabins for Camp Friendship, the premier program of The Carol Jean Cancer Foundation, as part of their community outreach program. The camp friendship, Carol Jean Cancer Foundation, located at 5019 Damascus Road in Laytonsville, MD 20882, offers recreational and support programs for kids with cancer and their
families throughout Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia.
Last year, Henry Bockman formed a community outreach program to perform local community service work in Montgomery County Maryland. The company performed projects including pressure washing the entire Germantown community park and cleaning up all the litter in the area with the help of The Germantown gems. Their goals include reaching out and helping those who most need assistance, beautifying their Communities and aiding other charitable organizations.
This year with the help of The Power Washers Of North America, Henry Bockman has expanded his local outreach program to a national level.
The group is attempting to gain more national, positive recognition for the professional pressure washing industry and to get other companies to donate their services to their own communities.
Companies are encouraged to get involved by choosing their own charity event or signing up for one of the larger organizations, such as Rebuilding Together, Christmas in April or Ronald McDonald House. Any companies interested in the project should contact Henry Bockman at 301-216-9675
for more information.
At the end of the overall project, a listing of all contractors and volunteers involved, along with photographs, will be released to the media detailing the grand total of services donated across the country. We hope this will help promote the standards of the professional power washing industry and the professionalism that we all strive for.
